Men's Underwear Size Guide: How to Find Your Perfect Fit

Men's Underwear Size Guide

Buying underwear online is tricky — you can't try it on, and every brand sizes differently. Here's the short version: use your body weight to find your size. That's it. No tape measure needed.

The Size Chart

Our sizing is based on body weight. Why weight? Because it correlates closely with waist size, and it's easier than trying to measure yourself with a tape measure. Underwear waistbands sit at a different height than where you'd measure for pants, so direct waist measurement can be misleading.

Size chart showing XS to XXL underwear sizes with weight ranges
Size Weight (kg) Weight (lbs) Waist (inch)
XS 45-55 99-121 28-30"
S 55-65 121-143 30-32"
M 65-75 143-165 32-34"
L 75-85 165-187 34-36"
XL 85-95 187-209 36-38"
XXL 95-110 209-243 38-40"

Note: Some products have slightly different weight ranges. Always check the size chart on the product page. Full reference table on our Size Guide page.

Body Type Tips

Weight gets you most of the way there. But a few body-type adjustments can help:

  • Muscular/athletic: Stick to your weight size. The lace has stretch and will fit over muscle.
  • Carry weight in the belly: Size up one. The waistband should sit flat without rolling.
  • Slim build: Between sizes? Size down for a snugger fit that stays put.
  • Tall (6'1"+): Briefs and bikinis work well. Thongs may sit higher than expected on longer torsos.
